Online rental property application
Applying for a property doesn’t have to be complicated.
Here’s everything you need to know.
The first step in applying for a rental property is asking yourself if you have what it takes to show a property manager that you can take care of a rental property and be an excellent, reliable tenant who will pay their rent on time. After you determine that, it’s time to give the rental property an inspection and fill out an application.
When it comes to real estate here in Australia, your application for a property cannot be accepted unless you provide property managers with some identification. To successfully apply so you can give yourself a chance to secure the property you have in mind, you must submit proof of identity with your application for our property managers to cross reference.
The first proof of identity we require is a government-issued photo identification such as a passport, driver’s license or 18+ card. The second is a copy of your employment contract. If the contract with your employer is verbal and cannot be supplied, other relevant employment documentation will also be suitable. These documents include your last 3 pay slips, a letter from your employer or accountant confirming your income or 1-2 bank statements.
If you don’t receive pay slips because you are without employment and/or receive income through Centrelink, please make note of this on your application, provide details of your previous employment and attach any applicable statements from Centrelink. Also, do not try applying for a property with multiple tenants on one application. Please make sure that each tenant has their own application form and supplies their own identification documents as well.
Another important point to note is that to successfully apply for a property, you must have the bond to cover damage and the first 2 weeks rent in cleared funds in your account ready to pay on approval. If you do not have the funds in your bank account and cannot pay for the bond and 2 weeks rent, please do not submit an application for one of our properties.
THINGS TO KNOW
#1 To fill out and submit an application online, please use our Full Application Kit (mandatory fields are highlighted in red). In order to interact with the PDF, you must have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.
#2 When you’ve finished filling out your application, please use Adobe’s create a signature feature to insert your signature. If you don’t think this is a suitable way of inserting your signature, then it’s also acceptable for you to print out the application and write your signature by hand.
#3 When you’re ready to submit your application, click ‘Share a Copy‘ and save the file. Then, email your application with the supporting documentation to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once everything’s been submitted, a staff member will process your application.

#6 If you manage to secure a property and become its newest tenant, a staff member will contact you to inform you of the good news.
#7 If your application is not successful, then don’t worry. Our team will let you know what other rental properties we have available, how they may interest you and when you’ll be able to go through them for an inspection.
